Ručica Beach

Ručica Beach is a breathtaking, almost otherworldly beach located near the small fishing village of Metajna on the island of Pag. Hidden behind a dramatic, rocky canyon, the approach to the beach feels like stepping onto another planet. This striking contrast between the bare, lunar-like stone formations and the vibrant turquoise waters of the Adriatic Sea makes it one of the most photographed spots in Croatia. The landscape is completely devoid of vegetation, offering a raw, pristine beauty that leaves every visitor in awe.

The beach itself is a beautiful mixture of sand and fine pebbles, which feels comfortable underfoot and provides an excellent spot for sunbathing. The water is exceptionally clear and pristine, reflecting the bright Mediterranean sun. Because of its unique geological surroundings, Ručica is also a starting point for the famous "Life on Mars" hiking trail, attracting nature lovers, photographers, and adventurers from all over the world.

Despite its remote feel, it has become increasingly popular. While it maintains a wild charm, visitors can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. Spending a day here means immersing yourself in a quiet, rugged coastal environment where the mesmerizing views of the Velebit mountains in the distance perfectly frame the crystal-clear bay.
