Šimuni is located on the western coast of Pag Island, exactly halfway between Pag Town and Novalja. The village has maintained its character as a traditional fishing settlement, though today it is a popular destination for campers and sailors. ACI Marina Šimuni gives safe shelter in a deep bay and serves as a convenient starting point for cruises into the Zadar archipelago. Along the coast, beautiful pebble beaches stretch out, lined with pine forests that provide natural shade. Especially famous is Camping Šimuni, one of the largest and best-equipped campsites in Croatia. Local konobas serve freshly caught fish and the famous Pag specialty, Pag cheese (Paški sir).
