The production facilities are generally not open to the public, as they are highly specialized plants. From the outside, the modern factory buildings are recognizable along the main road, often with company signs.

The best view of the optics center is from the main road through Panagyurishte, where the main factories are located. A hill east of the town provides an overview of the entire industrial area with its shiny roofs.
