The Stalin Line is an extensive historical-military complex near Minsk that showcases a restored section of the Soviet defense system from the 1930s. This line of fortifications originally stretched for over a thousand kilometers along the former western border of the USSR, from the Baltic Sea to the Black Sea. Opened as an open-air museum in 2005, it has visitors an authentic insight into the military technology and defensive strategies of the pre-war era. The site features carefully restored artillery and machine gun pillboxes, deep trenches, and anti-tank barriers. Furthermore, the complex houses one of the largest collections of military equipment in Eastern Europe, ranging from tanks and aircraft to radar systems, and regularly hosts elaborate historical battle reenactments.
