Loshitsa Park (Belarus)

Weather…

Loshitsa Park is Minsk's most romantic and historically rich landscape park, situated at the idyllic confluence of the Svisloch and Loshitsa rivers. At the center of the park stands the elegant old manor house of the Lubanski family from the 18th and 19th centuries, surrounded by sweeping lawns and ancient tree avenues. The park is a significant ecological monument: it houses trees that are sometimes over two centuries old, including the famous 'Love Oak', which is attributed magical properties. Another highlight are the historical orchards, where old, rare apple and pear varieties still grow today. The complex mosaic of waterways, traditional orchards, and old trees also makes the park an extremely important urban refuge for songbirds, bats, and countless insect species.
