Weather…

The Cuartel de la Montaña, also known as the February 4th Museum, is a historic military building located in the 23 de Enero neighborhood of Caracas. Constructed between 1907 and 1910 under the direction of Juan Vicente Gomez, the building originally served as the seat of the Military Academy. Its prominent architecture atop a hill provides a strategic view over the Miraflores Palace and the city center. The building gained international fame on February 4, 1992, when Hugo Chavez used it as his command center during a failed coup attempt. Following his death in 2013, the building was transformed into a museum and Chavez's final resting place. The complex now features exhibitions on Venezuela's military history and the former president's political biography, guarded by a permanent honor guard.
