It was extensively modernized and reopened in 2001, featuring advanced cabins and updated safety protocols. The ride spans approximately 3.5 kilometers and takes about 15 minutes, providing panoramic views of the valley of Caracas. At the top, tourists can access trails, an ice-skating rink, and the architectural landmark Hotel Humboldt.
