Water temperature…
Fjällbacka nestles closely at the foot of the 74-meter high Vetteberget mountain and is considered one of the most welcoming villages on the west coast. A natural phenomenon in the center is Kungsklyftan, an impressive rock cleft wedged with fallen boulders, which served as a filming location for 'Ronia, the Robber's Daughter'. From the summit of Vetteberget, there is a spectacular view over the Väderöarna archipelago. Hollywood legend Ingrid Bergman spent many summers here on the nearby island of Dannholmen, and a statue in the town square commemorates her connection to the place. Today, Fjällbacka is also known worldwide as the setting for Camilla Läckberg's crime novels, attracting many literary tourists. The harbor is lined with red fishing huts and top-class seafood restaurants. A boat trip to Väderöarna, Sweden's westernmost islands, is an unforgettable experience for nature lovers. Despite tourism, the village has maintained its authentic maritime character.
