Breb

Breb is widely regarded as one of the most photogenic and authentic villages in the Maramureș region, tucked away at the foot of the Gutâi Mountains. The village gained international fame for its remarkably preserved vernacular architecture and traditional way of life, catching the attention of King Charles III, who supported the preservation of its cultural landscape. Reaching Breb is best done by car from Sighetu Marmației or Baia Mare.
