Moszna Castle (Poland)

Weather…

The fairytale Moszna Castle, located in the Opole Voivodeship, is one of Poland's most extraordinary and visually striking architectural monuments. Frequently compared to the fantasy castles found in Disney movies, the massive estate captivates visitors with its exact 99 towers and turrets, alongside 365 opulently decorated rooms. The castle owes its current eclectic appearance to the Tiele-Winckler industrialist family, who rebuilt and vastly expanded it following a devastating fire in 1896. The sprawling building is a fascinating amalgamation of distinct architectural styles: the central part is Baroque, the eastern wing is designed in a Neo-Gothic style, and the western wing features Neo-Renaissance elements. The castle is beautifully surrounded by a 200-hectare landscape park, particularly renowned in the spring for its lively blooming azaleas and rhododendrons.
