Busova Mountain, also known as Buševa Planina, stretches across the central-western part of North Macedonia, above the town of Kruševo. The massif is part of the Pelagonide system and is characterized by its rounded forms and dense beech forests. Its highest peak is Musica, reaching 1,788 meters. Geologically, the mountain consists of ancient metamorphic rocks such as gneiss and schist. Kruševo, the country's highest town at approximately 1,350 meters, is situated directly on the slopes of this mountain. The region is not only ecologically valuable but also of great historical importance, having been the center of the 1903 Ilinden Uprising. Wildlife includes roe deer, wild boar, and various birds of prey. The mountain is currently a significant center for winter and mountain sports and is well-known for hosting paragliding world cup events.
