A festival dedicated to composer Gioachino Rossini in his hometown of Pesaro, held every August since 1980. Performances take place in the historic Teatro Rossini and the modern auditorium.

Pesaro is situated on the Adriatic coast in the Marche region and is famously known as the birthplace of composer Gioachino Rossini. The city blends a rich cultural heritage with its status as a modern seaside resort and was designated Italy's Capital of Culture for 2024. Its historic core is Piazza del Popolo, centered around the magnificent Ducal Palace (Palazzo Ducale), built in the 15th century under the Sforza family.
