Prosecutors requested a significantly harsher sentence for the owner whose dogs mauled a pedestrian to death in Szentes. The victim suffered more than a hundred injuries during the brutal attack.
Szentes is a prominent city in Csongrád-Csanád County, located in southeastern Hungary along the Kurca Canal and near the Tisza River. First mentioned in 1332, the settlement evolved into a significant administrative and agricultural hub over the centuries.
