Beauzelle is a municipality within the Toulouse metropolitan area in the Haute-Garonne department, situated directly along the banks of the Garonne river. Over recent decades, the town has transitioned from a quiet agricultural village into a critical hub for the European aviation industry. A significant portion of the AéroConstellation industrial site, designed for the final assembly of massive Airbus aircraft, is located within the municipality's borders. For visitors, the primary attraction is the Aeroscopia aviation museum, which displays historic and iconic aircraft such as the Concorde, the Super Guppy, and the Airbus A380. Away from the aerospace facilities, Beauzelle features extensive recreational spaces along the river. The Parc des Quinze Sols covers multiple hectares in the floodplain, featuring small lakes, wooded areas, and a network of walking trails that connect to neighboring towns. The architecture in the historical center, clustered around the red-brick Saint-Julien church, serves as a reminder of the town's pre-industrial past. Direct access to downtown Toulouse is facilitated by a tram line linking the city's historic core with Beauzelle's residential and industrial sectors.
