Lake Jozini

Lake Jozini, positioned at the foot of the Lebombo Mountains, is a magnificent body of water that creates a natural border between southeastern Eswatini and South Africa's KwaZulu-Natal. Often compared to Lake Kariba, this vast reservoir is a paradise for water-based safaris and fishing enthusiasts. Visitors come to experience the thrill of catching the fierce and fighting Tiger Fish, a species synonymous with these waters. Beyond fishing, the lake's shores teem with wildlife. It is not uncommon to spot herds of elephants bathing in the shallows, hippos grunting in the distance, and crocodiles basking on the muddy banks.
