Žamberk is a welcoming town located in the foothills of the Orlické Mountains in the Pardubice Region of the Czech Republic. Often called the 'Gateway to the Orlické Mountains,' the town is situated along the valley of the Divoká Orlice river. Established in the late 13th century, Žamberk's historical significance is reflected in its Baroque chateau, which was built on the site of an earlier fortress and is surrounded by an extensive English-style park.
