Okrug Gornji is situated on the western side of the island of Čiovo and is connected directly via bridges to the UNESCO World Heritage town of Trogir. The town's location features striking views of the Dalmatian archipelago, particularly towards the islands of Šolta and Drvenik. Its main attraction is the two-kilometer-long pebble beach, affectionately known as the 'Copacabana of Okrug,' which serves as the hub of the island's social life. The town perfectly balances traditional Mediterranean tranquility with all the comforts of modern tourism. During the day, numerous water sports such as jet skiing, paragliding, and diving await active holidaymakers, while evenings are spent in seaside bars and restaurants serving fresh seafood and local wines.
