Ljubač is a gem near Zadar, distinguished by its geological uniqueness: vast sandy beaches with very shallow waters. This makes the village one of the best destinations for families with small children in all of Dalmatia. The main beach, Plaža Ljubač, provides natural shade and a gentle entry into the sea. The village has preserved its original character with narrow streets and old stone houses. Historically, the area has been inhabited since antiquity, as evidenced by the remains of the medieval castle Castrum Liubae on the nearby Ljubljana peninsula. Residents traditionally engage in fishing and agriculture, particularly the cultivation of figs and olives. Its location in a protected bay ensures pleasant water temperatures from May to September. In local konobas, guests can enjoy fresh fish straight from the boat. Ljubač is also an excellent starting point for visiting Pag Island or the Paklenica National Park.
