Banjole is located on a small peninsula in southern Istria and has retained the charm of an old fishing village despite tourism. The jagged coastline features numerous small bays and peninsulas well-suited for swimming, sailing, and diving. The town is particularly famous for its gastronomic variety; local fishermen supply restaurants with fresh catches daily, making Banjole a quiet find for foodies.
