The statue rises 26 meters high and is constructed from reinforced concrete coated with white marble dust for protection and aesthetics. Originally designed by Gerardo Navia Carvajal, it was completed by the Italian sculptor Alideo Tazzioli. Positioned at 1,474 meters above sea level, the site provides a panoramic view of the entire city and the surrounding valley.
