Ain Dubai (United Arab Emirates)

Weather…

Ain Dubai is the world's tallest and largest observation wheel, located on Bluewaters Island off the coast of Dubai Marina. Opened in October 2021, the wheel reaches a staggering height of 250 meters, significantly surpassing the High Roller in Las Vegas. The construction required over 11,200 tons of steel, which is approximately 25 percent more than was used for the Eiffel Tower. The wheel features 48 air-conditioned cabins capable of holding up to 1,750 visitors at a time, providing 360-degree views of landmarks like Burj Al Arab and Palm Jumeirah. Each cabin is equipped with double-glazed windows to insulate against the desert heat. The foundation is supported by legs measuring 126 meters each, with the hub and spindle alone weighing 1,800 tons. Ain Dubai was designed as the centerpiece of the Bluewaters project to strengthen Dubai's status as a global tourism hub. Although currently closed for maintenance, it remains a dominant feature of the city's skyline.
