Water temperature…
Kyrylivka is situated on the Azov Sea and is geographically defined by two prominent sand spits: Fedotova Spit and Peresyp Spit. The sea here is much shallower and warmer than the Black Sea, making it a prime choice for families with small children. A major highlight is the 'Treasure Island' water park, one of the largest in Eastern Europe, along with the local dolphinarium. Beyond the beaches, Kyrylivka is known for the therapeutic muds of the Utlyuk Estuary. Windsurfers and kitesurfers flock here for the steady winds in the shallow bays. Local markets offer a huge variety of dried fish, a regional specialty. Access is typically via Melitopol, with regular bus connections. The best time to visit is from June to September, when the shallow waters often exceed 26 degrees Celsius.
