Tishreen Park

Tishreen Park is the largest and most significant green area in Damascus, serving as the 'green lung' of the Syrian capital. It covers an area of approximately 45 hectares in the west of the city, not far from the Barada River. The park was laid out in the 1970s and named after the Tishreen War (October War).
