Avicii Arena (Sweden)

Weather…

Avicii Arena, originally known as the Stockholm Globe Arena or simply the Globe, is the world's largest spherical building and a major landmark of Stockholm. Inaugurated in 1989, it serves as a premier venue for concerts, ice hockey championships, and international events. In 2021, it was renamed to honor the memory of the late Swedish DJ and producer Avicii. The structure features a diameter of 110 meters and an internal height of 85 meters, creating a vast and impressive indoor space. A popular feature is 'SkyView', an elevator system with glass gondolas that travels along the exterior of the dome, taking visitors to the very top for panoramic city views. Furthermore, the arena acts as the Sun in the Sweden Solar System, the world's largest scale model of our planetary system.
