Sagrada Família (Spain)

Weather…

The Sagrada Família in Barcelona is undoubtedly one of the most fascinating architectural projects in modern history. Taken over by Antoni Gaudí in 1883, the unmistakable structure defines the city's skyline, uniquely blending Gothic traditions with the organic, nature-inspired elements of Catalan Modernism. The vast interior is supported by tree-like columns, creating a forest canopy effect bathed in spiritual light from the complex, vibrantly colored stained-glass windows. Since Gaudí's death in 1926, the construction of the basilica has been funded exclusively by donations and ticket sales, stretching the building process over more than a century. Once completed, the central Jesus Christ tower, reaching 172 meters, will make it the tallest religious building in Europe.
