Pringle Bay is a low-key spot at the foot of Hangklip Mountain, located within the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve. The village has maintained its rustic charm, with many unpaved roads, making it a favorite for those seeking peace away from the crowds. Its wide white sandy beach is well-suited for long walks and gives panoramic views across False Bay towards Table Mountain. The area is a biodiversity hotspot, particularly famous for its unique fynbos flora. Hiking trails in the surrounding mountains provide spectacular coastal panoramas. Despite its seclusion, the village center is home to several excellent small restaurants known for high-quality local cuisine. The drive to the village via Clarence Drive is considered one of the most scenic coastal routes in the world. While summer is popular, spring has the most impressive displays of blooming wildflowers.
