King Abdullah Port (Saudi Arabia)

Weather…

King Abdullah Port is an ultra-modern deep-water port on the Red Sea coast of Saudi Arabia, located approximately 100 kilometers north of Jeddah. It is an integral part of King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) and is notable for being the first port in the Middle East to be fully privately funded, developed, and operated. Since its opening in 2014, it has emerged as one of the world's fastest-growing container ports. Positioned strategically on the main trade route between Asia and Europe via the Suez Canal, it gives unsurpassed efficiency for global shipping operations. The port features state-of-the-art infrastructure, including cranes capable of handling the world's largest container ships and a natural water depth of 18 meters. Beyond container traffic, the port provides specialized terminals for vehicle imports and bulk cargo. This project serves as a cornerstone of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to establish the Kingdom as a premier global logistics hub.
