The rapid population growth has brought challenges regarding public services, leading to significant investments in new primary schools, clinics, and public transport links to the Bucharest metro system. Dudu represents the new face of the Romanian metropolitan sprawl, where traditional village boundaries blur into the expanding urban fabric of the nation's capital.
