Ouddorp is located at the tip of the island of Goeree-Overflakkee on the border between South Holland and Zeeland. The town is famous for its more than 18 kilometers of pristine sandy beaches, which are among the most beautiful in the Netherlands. The most striking landmark is the square red Westhoofd lighthouse, which stands out from the vast dunes. Besides beach life, Ouddorp is a paradise for water sports enthusiasts. The nearby Brouwersdam separates the North Sea from the Grevelingenmeer and features good conditions for windsurfing, kitesurfing, and sailing. The village itself has a historic core with an imposing village church and cozy small alleys where you can lose track of time.
