Visiting

Alexandra Falls is located in Black River Gorges National Park and can be viewed freely from a viewing platform. The waterfall is visible from above, but the pool below is not accessible.

The national park is typically open daily from sunrise to sunset, with an entrance fee. The best time to view the waterfall is after the rainy season, when the water flow is highest.

From the viewing platform, you can take fantastic photos of the waterfall and the forested gorge. A polarizing filter helps reduce spray and bring out the lush green of the vegetation.
