Weather…

The Couvent des Jacobins in Toulouse is a masterpiece of Southern French Gothic architecture, constructed entirely of red brick. Established in 1230, it served as the mother church of the Dominican Order. The church is world-renowned for its extraordinary interior vaulting, specifically The Palm Tree vault, where 22 ribs radiate from a single 22-meter-high pillar. A major historical milestone occurred in 1369 when the relics of Saint Thomas Aquinas were transferred here and placed beneath the high altar. The convent complex also features a beautiful 14th-century cloister with elegant double columns. Despite being used as military barracks during the French Revolution, the site was meticulously restored and is now a key cultural landmark.
