Located in the heart of the easy on the eye South Moravian Region, in Moravian Slovakia, Kyjov is a town renowned for its bustling folklore, colorful folk costumes, and excellent wines. The town is a cultural hub, hosting the oldest folklore festival in the Czech Republic, Slovácký rok (Moravian Slovakian Year), once every four years, attracting thousands of visitors. Explore the Renaissance main square with its town hall and plague column. Visitors can also check out the Vlastivědné muzeum (Homeland Museum) to learn about local history and ethnography. The surrounding landscape is dotted with vineyards, inviting wine tasting in local cellars. Kyjov is easily accessible by train or bus from Brno.
