Water temperature…
Mihotići is situated on the slopes above the famous coastal town of Opatija, within the municipality of Matulji. Its location between the Učka mountain range and the Adriatic Sea creates a pleasant microclimate where fresh mountain air meets mild sea breezes. The village features a blend of traditional stone houses and modern holiday villas, harmoniously integrated into the terraced landscape. For hikers and cyclists, Mihotići serves as an excellent starting point. Numerous marked trails lead up to Učka Nature Park or down to the coast. The village's tranquility is particularly appealing, offering a sharp contrast to the lively tourism found on the Lungomare seaside promenade. From many vantage points in the village, one can admire panoramic views of the entire Kvarner Bay and the islands of Krk and Cres. Local culture is deeply rooted in the traditions of the Liburnian hinterland. In the surrounding hamlets, traditional architecture is still visible, and small taverns serve homemade specialties like pršut (dry-cured ham) and handmade pasta. Its proximity to the main highway makes Mihotići very accessible for travelers arriving from Central Europe.
