Water temperature…
Brseč is a panoramic medieval town perched on a 157-meter high cliff on the eastern coast of the Istrian peninsula. Overlooking the Kvarner Gulf, this fortified settlement has retained its historic charm with stone-paved streets, ancient gateways, and traditional houses that seem to grow out of the rock. The town gives some of the most dramatic views in Croatia, stretching across the sea to the islands of Cres and Lošinj. Below the town lies the world-famous Brsec Beach (also known as Klančac), a memorable pebble cove set between steep cliffs. Accessible via a narrow winding road, the beach is celebrated for its incredibly clear turquoise water and secluded atmosphere. It is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful hidden beaches in the Adriatic, providing a well-suited spot for those seeking natural beauty away from the organized beach clubs of larger resorts. In addition to its natural and architectural beauty, Brseč is a place of culture and history. It is the birthplace of the prominent writer Eugen Kumičić, and his legacy is still celebrated in the town's small galleries and libraries. The surrounding area is part of the Učka Nature Park, offering numerous hiking and cycling trails through lush Mediterranean forests. Brseč perfectly combines the serenity of a clifftop retreat with the rugged beauty of the Croatian coastline.
