Escaldes-Engordany Art Center

The Escaldes-Engordany Art Center (CAEE) is a key cultural meeting point housed in a magnificent granite building from the 1930s. It hosts two major permanent exhibitions that shed light on the region's artistic heritage. On the first floor is the collection of sculptor Josep Viladomat, whose works captivate with their realism and anatomical precision. Viladomat is considered one of the most important Catalan artists of the 20th century and lived in Andorra for many years. The second floor is dedicated to an impressive collection of models of Andorran Romanesque art, providing a scale overview of the principality's numerous churches and chapels. These models allow visitors to appreciate the country's architectural diversity in a single location. In addition to these collections, CAEE regularly hosts temporary exhibitions on themes such as contemporary photography, design, or historical art.
