Rufunsa

Rufunsa is the administrative capital of the Rufunsa District in Lusaka Province, located approximately 160 kilometers east of Lusaka along the Great East Road. The town serves as a critical transit point for travelers and commercial cargo moving between the capital, the Eastern Province, and neighboring Malawi and Mozambique. Geographically, Rufunsa is surrounded by rugged, hilly terrain and the foothills of the Luano Valley, giving the area a distinctive landscape.
