Getting there
The main gateway is Con Son Island, reachable by short domestic flights from Ho Chi Minh City or ferry from Vung Tau. From town, visitors easily rent scooters or hire local taxis to forest trailheads.
Best season
The good period to explore both terrestrial and marine ecosystems is between March and September when the sea is calm. This window coincides perfectly with the mid-summer sea turtle nesting season.
Terrain & paths
The diverse landscape features rugged coastal cliffs, pristine sandy beaches, and dense tropical forests. Hiking trails range from easy paved walks to much more challenging, unpaved ascending tracks.
What to bring
Prepare for a humid tropical climate with breathable apparel, sturdy trail shoes, and much sunscreen. Snorkeling gear is highly recommended for reefs, alongside a reusable water bottle for long hikes.

Visitors renting scooters usually find safe parking right at park headquarters and near major trailhead entrances. On smaller adjacent islands, transport is managed by boats, making parking irrelevant.
