Best season
The handy months are from October to April when the mountain climate is pleasantly cool; during the summer months, temperatures in the canyon can soar to extremes, making activities difficult.

Visitors will encounter a dramatic gorge with steep rock faces and a stony riverbed; the paths require sure-footedness, as loose scree and large boulders can line the way through the canyon floor.
What to bring
