Palandöken
Palandöken is one of Turkey's most prominent winter sports centers, located right on the doorstep of Erzurum. Tourists flock here to experience challenging slopes, including one of the longest continuous ski runs in the world. The resort reaches altitudes of 3176 meters at the Ejder peak, ensuring a snow-sure season from December to March. The infrastructure is modern, featuring floodlights for night skiing and comfortable hotels situated directly on the slopes. In the Erzurum region, visitors can admire historic Seljuk architecture and taste the famous local Cağ Kebap. Travel is exceptionally convenient thanks to the nearby Erzurum Airport, located just 15 minutes away. The dry cold climate creates crystalline powder snow that is highly prized by skiers. Beyond skiing, the area features opportunities for ice climbing and winter trekking in the striking Anatolian mountain landscape, making it a complete winter destination.
