Friguia Park (Tunisia)

Weather…

Friguia Park is a vast private animal park near Enfidha, opened in 2000 to promote the protection of endangered species and nature tourism in Tunisia. Spanning an area of approximately 36 hectares, the park is home to over 60 different animal species, including African elephants, lions, giraffes, and ostriches. A special feature of the park is the design of the enclosures, which aims to replicate the animals' natural habitats as closely as possible. Visitors can observe the animals from elevated wooden walkways, which guarantees safety and provides an unobstructed view. In addition to the zoo, the park features a dolphinarium where dolphin shows are held and visitors have the opportunity to swim with these intelligent marine mammals. Cultural performances, such as traditional Zulu dances, complement the offerings and make the park a popular destination for families and tourists who want to experience African fauna up close.
