Zhongjiao is located in the Jinshan District of New Taipei City and has evolved into Northern Taiwan's premier surfing hub. The heart of the area is Zhongjiao Bay (中角沙灘), which features excellent wave conditions year-round due to its unique coastal geography. The golden sandy shore attracts both professional surfers and beginners, with numerous surf schools and seaside cafes creating a lively, laid-back atmosphere. Beyond surfing, the vicinity gives other scenic gems like the New Jinshan Bathing Beach (新金山海水浴場). This beach is renowned for its clear waters and fine sand, making it a favorite for families and sunbathers.
