💡 Tips
- Go up to Glacier 3000 early in the morning to avoid the crowds on the Peak Walk and to get the best views.
- Make use of the 'Free Access Card,' often included with your accommodation. It gives free or discounted mountain transport and many activities in summer.
- The village is in the French-speaking canton of Vaud. A few words of French, like 'Bonjour' or 'Merci,' will be much appreciated.
- A spectacular yet easy walk leads to the 'Passerelle du Dar' suspension bridge. It provides a great view of the waterfall and requires no mountain gear.
🍽 Food
Try this creamy cheese fondue, made exclusively with Gruyère cheese, at a traditional restaurant in the village centre.
Enjoy melted cheese scraped directly from the wheel, served with potatoes and pickles. A convivial and authentic mountain experience.
Order a platter of local cold cuts and cheeses. Great for a light lunch or to share with a glass of local wine.

Water temperature…
Located at 1160 meters, Les Diablerets is named after the surrounding rock massif which, according to legend, was home to devils. Today, the resort is a premier year-round destination, best known for Glacier 3000. This site features the world's only suspension bridge connecting two mountain peaks (Peak Walk by Tissot). Winter sports enthusiasts find diverse slopes here, while summer hikers enjoy the ascent to Creux de Champ or tours to the Sanetsch Pass. The village architecture is characterized by traditional wooden chalets creating a cozy atmosphere. Culinary-wise, the region is famous for its cheese and local wines from the nearby Rhone Valley. Access is typically via Aigle using the narrow-gauge ASD railway, which is a scenic experience in itself. The best time to visit is mid-winter for alpine skiing or late summer for high-altitude alpine tours to the 3210-meter summit.
