Pasir Ris Park is located in eastern Singapore and is one of the largest coastal parks in the country, spanning approximately 70 hectares. Developed in the late 1980s on reclaimed land, the park features a variety of habitats, including a protected six-hectare mangrove forest. This forest features a boardwalk that allows visitors to observe the unique flora and fauna of the intertidal zone up close. Geographically, the park stretches along the Pasir Ris coastline, providing views across the Straits of Johor. Facilities include a large adventure playground, barbecue pits, and a horse riding center known as Gallop Stable. A prominent feature is the three-storey bird-watching tower located within the mangrove area, which is highly popular among bird enthusiasts. The park serves as a vital recreational space for residents in the east, famous for its cycling tracks and water sports activities. The preservation of the natural coastline and mangroves makes it a significant ecological and educational site in Singapore.
