The park consists of three distinct waterfront gardens: Bay South, Bay East, and Bay Central. This spectacular futuristic nature park is primarily an outdoor experience where visitors can wander freely beneath the towering Supertree structures. The two main indoor attractions, the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest conservatories, require a paid admission ticket for entry.

The outdoor public garden areas are generally open from early morning until late at night, offering great flexibility for visitors. The climate-controlled indoor conservatories and the elevated walkway typically follow regular daytime and early evening operating hours throughout the year.

The massive Supertrees offer incredible photographic opportunities, particularly when they are beautifully illuminated against the dark night sky. Photography is widely encouraged throughout the park, though tripods may be restricted inside the frequently crowded indoor glass conservatories.
