State House

State House in Victoria serves as the official office and residence of the President of the Republic of Seychelles, representing a premier example of Edwardian architecture. Constructed in 1910 during the British colonial era, the building was originally designed as the residence for the Governor and was known as Government House. It was the work of architect William Marshall Vaudin, who was noted for his ability to harmonize European styles with tropical settings.
