Wadi Namar
Wadi Namar is a significant valley located in southern Riyadh, transformed into a lush urban oasis through an extensive environmental rehabilitation project. The centerpiece of the wadi is a two-kilometer-long artificial lake, regulated by a massive dam at its western end. Geographically, the valley is carved into the limestone bedrock of the Najd plateau, with steep cliffs providing a natural windbreak. The project features pedestrian walkways, modern lighting, and artificial waterfalls that help modulate the valley's microclimate.
