Cocorăștii Colț is a young commune in Prahova County, established by the reorganization of the Mănești commune in 2003. Located in the southwestern part of the county, the settlement is situated in the Ploiești Plain, an area with high agricultural potential due to fertile soils. The commune comprises eight villages, including Cocorăștii Colț, Cheșnoiu, and Piatra, and is crossed by the Prahova River.
