The temperature inside the Praid Salt Mine is a constant 16°C (61°F). Bring a sweater or light jacket, even on a hot summer day.
To enter the main underground chamber, you'll take a bus on a 1.2 km journey through a tunnel. The ride itself is part of the experience.
The mine can get very crowded. Consider booking your tickets online in advance to skip the long queues at the entrance.
