Over recent decades, Cornu has transformed into a prestigious residential area, chosen as a retreat by many of Romania's political and cultural figures, resulting in the construction of numerous modern estates. The surrounding landscape is dotted with orchards and pastures that define its rural charm. Documented since the 16th century, the area has a long history linked to the development of the Wallachian sub-Carpathian region. Its tranquility and proximity to the mountains make it a popular spot for agritourism and leisurely nature walks.
