- The main promenade is often pedestrianized in the evenings, making it great for a relaxed sunset stroll.
- Bring water shoes if you plan to swim outside the small sandy beach, as the rocky coast can be sharp.

Marsalforn is the most popular seaside resort on the island of Gozo, historically serving as the primary port for trade with Sicily. This former fishing village has evolved into a bustling tourist hub, characterized by its easy on the eye bay and lively waterfront promenade. A unique feature of the surrounding coastline is the Xwejni Salt Pans, which were carved directly into the limestone rock centuries ago and remain operational for sea salt harvesting today. Overlooking the village from Tas-Salvatur Hill is an imposing statue of Christ the Redeemer, erected in 1970, which serves as a landmark for the entire region. Despite modern commercial development including numerous restaurants and diving centers, the harbour maintains its traditional charm with brightly painted Luzzu fishing boats. Geographically situated on Gozo's northern coast, its sheltered position makes it a convenient location for swimming and water sports. While peaceful in the winter months, Marsalforn experiences a significant population surge during the peak summer season.
